The support of business partners and clients makes the prestigious Stronghold Insurance Company Inc., thrive and become one of the leading non-life insurance companies in the country today.

To mark the company's 63rd anniversary, Stronghold held its 1st Insurance Friendship Golf Tournament at the Pueblo de Oro Golf Course, Cagayan de Oro on Friday, March 24.

The tee off was participated  by the company executives and business partners from Manila and Northern Mindanao.

Hailed as champion for the Class A category was Eric Lim, while Markie Javier ranked second and Miguel Chiong placed third. For the Class B category, Chit Lastimosa was declared champion while David Mercado and Andrew Neri were placed second and third, respectively.

The Class C category was dominated by Raymund Mirabuena tailed by Pamela Lastimosa in second place and Norman Macapugay in third spot.

Stronghold president and general manager Romulo Delos Reyes Jr. said the tournament is an expression of gratitude to the company's business partners for the support over the years.

"This is one way of thanking our business partners and one way of expressing our deepest gratitude for the help and support they have given us over these years," Delos Reyes said.

Stronghold-Cagayan de Oro hosted the event as it has posted a huge chunk of insurance production nationwide.

"This is the most producing office of the company and we opted to celebrate here to give credence to our people here in Cagayan de Oro," he added.

Delos Reyes maintained that the company has sustained its prestige and reputation in the industry over the years because of the support of the business partners, clients, and the men and women behind the company in all its branches nationwide.

Since its establishment in 1960, it has grown tremendously and has continued to move forward to give the best non-life insurance products and services to the public.

"Over the years our growth continuously moved forward on a lot of business opportunities until there was a requirement of insurance commision to increase the net worth or capital requirement of each company and we were able to comply ahead of other insurance companies. With that we get the public impression that we are here to stay and that's what we are going to do," Delos Reyes said.

Stronghold is poised to be the top and the leading non-life insurance company in the country in the years to come.
