Hedcor Unveils P1.6-M Tribal Projects in Bukidnon

June 9, 2022 at 11:21 am, No comments
Hedcor continues to support and celebrate the Indigenous People (IP) communities of Manolo Fortich in Bukidnon with P1,600,000-worth of infrastructure projects.

Said P1.6 million tribal projects include the construction of a new tribal hall in Barangay Dalirig; and refurbishment of tribal halls in Barangays Maluko, Santiago and Guilang-Guilang in the Municipality of Manolo Fortich. Moreso, a tribal hall in  Barangay Guihean in the Municipality of Impasugong will also be redeveloped.

Manolo Fortich’s Vice Mayor, Miguel Demata, commend Hedcor’s efforts and says “I acknowledge and give our sincerest appreciation and respect to Hedcor for their support. Hedcor is doing everything and does not hesitate to lend a helping hand to help not only our communities and families but especially our economy.”

Hedcor acknowledges that the tribal halls or commonly known in the locality as "Tulugan-'' is the very heart of the community where culture is passed on from one generation to the next.

Hedcor, together with the community IP leaders, conducted a ritual called "Pamukaw" to ask for guidance and blessings to the divine for both the perusal of projects, and the strengthening of partnerships.

Barangay Captain Jerville Senagonia of Santiago gladly looks at how the community continues to prosper and grow, with the significant support of Hedcor as well as the contributions of every member in the community. “I am so grateful and thankful to Hedcor for always fulfilling its promises to our community and for all the grace and favor that God has given us.”

"The tribal hall that Hedcor will build and improve in Bukidnon is a testament of our strong commitment to be the community’s partner-as their home and family", says Marvin Asilo, Hedcor's External Relations Manager for VizMin.

Hedcor remains true to its vision in advancing the IP communities’ dreams and aspirations, strengthening their unquenchable zeal and resilience to rise from their situation. (PR)

FULFILLING A PROMISE. The tribal project is an attestation of Hedcor's strong commitment in advancing the IP communities' dreams and aspirations from one generation to the next.
