If elected to office on May 9, the Kaabag Kami team led by Cagayan de Oro City Mayor and gubernatorial candidate Oscar Moreno and his running mate vice gubernatorial candidate Ariel ‘Ayi’ Hernandez are committed to allocate half a billion pesos every year to provide PhilHealth coverage to every family in Misamis Oriental, Hernandez said.
‘Ato ning gi-compute…ngano kinahanglan man ning PhilHealth coverage? Mao nang dipirensiya,’ Hernandez told the crowd in Lagonglong town during a campaign rally last Friday evening.
Hernandez said their guarantee of annual PhilHealth coverage is far better than the P5,000 to be offered in exchange for a ‘straight vote’ of candidates in next month’s elections.
Aside from PhilHealth coverage, the Kaabag team is committed to provide scholarships to every family, regardless of political color, something which their rivals in the elections were unable to assure, Hernandez added. (PR)
